Music Minds Matter Allies
Working with partners across the industry to transform attitudes and practices around mental health in music
Putting positive mental wellbeing in music centre stage
Working in music is amazing, but there are unique pressures that can impact the mental wellbeing of those who work in it.
Since 2017 we have connected thousands to information and support, changing attitudes and culture to make sure everyone in music can thrive.
We work proactively with our partners to help prevent crisis and mental health issues, providing everybody who works in music with the early support, knowledge and tools they need, when they need them.
What does becoming Music Minds Matter Ally mean?
Our allies share the vision and mission of Music Minds Matter and demonstrate their commitment to changing attitudes and practices in music to protect and promote everyone’s mental wellbeing.
They connect their employees, members and networks to Music Minds Matter to ensure as many people as possible feel able to speak about mental health and get help for themselves or others when it’s needed.
Finally, through their networks, Allies share and support Music Minds Matter to ensure that together, by raising awareness and connecting people to resources, we reach everyone in music that needs support.
