Working as a musician can often be isolating and it can hard to know how to access networks or find your community. If you’re looking for an opportunity to meet and connect with other musicians, one of our peer mixer events could be for you.

Each event offers a safe space for discussion, knowledge sharing and networking that can lead to collaboration and community building beyond the event space.

Pilot in collaboration with Sounds Queer

If you’re a musician from the LGBTQIA+ community this could be for you.

We’re working in collaboration with Sounds Queer to bring you two peer mixers where you can:

  • Listen to a specially curated panel of industry leaders including artist managers, booking agents and representatives from some of the most well-known queer talent, media and event organisations
  • Network with other musicians
  • Hear some fantastic live music and DJs

What to expect

You’ll be one of 30 musicians attending two in-person peer mixer events in London on two different dates. Each event will cover a different topic.

Saturday 7 December, 12 – 3pm, Strongroom

Day 2: Progress, challenges and ambitions of queer music artists in 2025
Tuesday 21 January, 6 – 9pm, Strongroom
