Looking back at the 2024 Festival of St Cecilia
Photos from our annual celebration of music
On Wednesday 20 November we were joined by over 1,100 guests at St Paul’s Cathedral in London for our annual celebration — the Festival of St Cecilia.
Now in its 78th year, 2024’s festival featured uplifting performances from the choirs of Westminster Cathedral, St Paul’s Cathedral, and Westminster Abbey, directed by Andrew Carwood, MBE.
Composer Heloise Werner shared her new anthem Joys in Love, and we enjoyed a stunning performance of Chopin’s Piano Sonata No.3 in B minor – last movement by pianist and Help Musicians Ambassador, Isata Kanneh-Mason.
The day ended with a special lunch at Stationers’ Hall, where Feargal Mostyn-Williams gave three beautiful performances. Watching three of our supported artists shine was a touching reminder of the impact the generosity of our supporters has on the development of the UK’s musical talent.
Take a look at some of our favourite photos from the event below.
If you couldn’t attend the festival this time, or would like to join us again next year, please save the date for next year’s event, which will take place on Wednesday 19 November 2025 at Westminster Abbey, or sign up to our mailing list and we’ll let you know when tickets are available to book.
